Carly Chohon, CPA

An integral member of The LSC Group team, Carly has been with the firm since 2021. As a partner in the firm, she performs tax planning, consulting, and compliance for high-net-worth individuals, small businesses and their owners, real estate investors, owners, and operators, and clients in the entertainment industry. Additionally, she is responsible for aiding in business development and firm management. Carly has been a professional in the accounting field since 2006. She was previously with two other San Fernando Valley accounting firms, 10 years with the first, at which she established her accounting career, and three years as a senior tax manager with the second.
A focused and outgoing professional, Carly is helpful and open to change. She views her clients as her partners and operates from the mindset that they are in this together! Carly knows that taxes are intricate, which is why she works hard to translate complex tax concepts into a language that her clients can understand. “I want my clients to be as informed as possible, so they are able to make appropriate decisions for their business or personal tax situation,” she explains. Carly attributes her career success to her desire to find the best way to do things.
Born in Los Angeles, Carly now lives in Woodland Hills, which she describes as a family community with beautiful weather and lots to do. She is married and she and her husband, Ben, have two children, Allyson and Ryan. When she isn’t spending her free time with her family and friends, she enjoys going to the beach, working out, eating delicious food, and doing wine tastings.
